How to follow Users and Streams

Team members can follow other members and Streams in Current to stay up to date and get notified by email when new posts have been added by the member or to a Stream.

How to follow another member

From the Team tab

1. Navigate to the Team.

   

   
   

2. Click the Follow button located below the member’s name.

   

From the Avatar

1. Navigate to the members profile by clicking on their avatar.

   

   
   

2. Click the Follow button located in the top right of their profile.

   

How to follow a Stream

From the Stream tab

1. Navigate to Streams by clicking on the Streams icon (#) in the header.

   

   
   

2. Click on the Follow button below the Stream’s title.

   

From the Stream page

1. Navigate to Streams by clicking on the Streams icon (#) in the header.

   

   
   

2. Navigate to the Stream you would like to follow, and click on the Stream title.

   

   
   

3. Click Follow button in the top right of the stream’s page.

   

How do I see members and streams I follow on my feed?

In the top right of your home feed, you can toggle between All posts and Following. For following you will see all posts from members and streams you follow.

Why are there no follower counts on profiles?

We decided not to show how many followers each stream and person has to avoid Current turning into a popularity contest within the team.
