How to set up Slack Reminders

Slack reminders are a great way to stay on top of tasks and deadlines. With Current, you can easily set up Slack reminders for your team members.

Connect Slack Account

1. Click on Workspace Menu.

   

   
   

2. Click on Settings and Members.

   

   
   

3. Click on Rituals.

   

   
   

4. Click on connect Slack and follow the prompts.

   

   
   

5. After connecting Slack, fill out the inputs.

   

   
   

6. Complete the fields and select Send Test Message. This will send a test message to the specified Slack channel.

   

   Note: You may not see your Slack channels in the drop-down list when creating a new reminder. This is because you need to add the Slackbot to the channel before it can appear in the list.

Add Current to a Slack Channel

1. Navigate to the channel in Slack and click on the channel name.

2. Type @current.so and hit send message to invite the Slackbot to the channel. Now when you return to Current, refresh the page and you should see the channel in the post modal.
